It is also not recommended for patients with nervous disorders.

Moreover, the drug is contraindicated in cases of rheumatoid arthritis, and liver and kidney problems.

The most common side effects are permanent liver damage, variations in heart rhythm, infections in the intestine, and a sudden increase or decrease in the level of blood sugar. It can also cause serious allergic reactions which will require immediate medical attention.

This medicine comes under the category of Sulfa drugs. It also kills the bacteria and gets rid of the infection. It may or may not cause side effects such as headache, nausea, diarrhea and vomiting. The drug is contraindicated in pregnant and breastfeeding women, as well as in people with kidney or liver problems.
