Taking Bath Can Improve Your Health  


Taking bath is a beneficial activity that can promote good health. Here are the ways on how it can improve health:

• Toxins
This is the most obvious reason why we should all take a bath. Everyday, we are exposed to thousands of bacteria, viruses and germs all around. If you don’t take a bath to remove these things clinging to your body, you could get sick. Bathing in warm water with temperature around 32 to 35 degrees Celsius is good for opening the pores and removing the toxins.

• Blood Sugar, Muscle and Colon
Baths are also effective in lowering blood sugar levels, alleviating pain in the muscles and maintaining proper functioning of the colon. It’s best to have a warm bath for about 20 to 30 minutes.

• Cold Baths
Taking a cold water bath also has its own benefits. If you experience chronic fatigue all the time, it can be a sign of bad circulation. Taking a cold bath can improve circulation of the blood. This is why, some health experts believe that cold water can reduce the risk of hypertension as well as prevent varicose veins and blood vessel hardening. Just make sure that you consult your doctor first if you have any medical condition before taking daily cold baths.

• Stress
Whether cold or warm, whatever temperature you’re used to, baths can also alleviate stress. After a bath, you will instantly feel fresh and relaxed. The mind becomes clearer and calmer as well. This stress-relieving qualities of bath is the reason why people with high stress levels are advised to soak those stressors away in a refreshing bath.

The effect of this is shown on the skin, which would always appear supple and sufficiently moistened. Also, nails won’t easily get cracked and stains and dark circles around the eyes won’t be so apparent. You’ll also be less prone to skin problems that are due to certain types of bacteria.

• Immunity
Since taking a bath removes toxins and bacteria in the body, this helps your body’s immunity, blocking infections and resisting illnesses much better.
